I enjoy Tunes at Twilight immensely. Thank you to everyone who makes this special event happen. It's one of my favorite things about Cape Girardeau.
Joe Sullivan spends a lot of time promoting activities he wants other people to actually implement. Good for him, sort of. If he really wanted to see a giant Missouri flag over Cape Girardeau, why doesn't he donate some of the money he earned? If he had a flag, I'd bet it would be easier to find a place to hang it. Why not on the KFVS tower?
I'm getting tired of reading about all the murders in the Southeast Missourian. If anyone else is thinking about murdering someone, would you please just stop and reconsider? Not only will you likely end up in jail for much of the rest of your life, but you will ruin the reading pleasure of many of us who look forward to our morning newspaper to keep up to date on nicer things. Instead of murdering someone, please try attending church. Or at least get psychological help. Of course, I'm guessing that if you're a potential murderer, you're probably not reading the newspaper, at least in print. So, friends and family of potential murderers, please just clip out this comment and share appropriately. Somehow we need to cut down on all this bad news in the local newspaper.
Is there any place where kids can skateboard? Is there any concrete or paved place where it's legal for them to have a good time skateboarding?
If the city wants to do something about nuisances, what about motorcycles with loud mufflers? If they were cars they'd be given a ticket.
