Where are the sidewalks? On the corner across from Jackson Middle School a builder with permission of the city/aldermen is building a large apartment complex with no sidewalks on Route D (Independence) side nor the Broadridge side. Sidewalks extend a mile and more along these two routes to the swimming pool and Jackson Boulevard but are not being built along the two sides of this new construction. There is another construction going on D west about a football field away then two more fields distance entrance to a subdivision and more down the road. Children, walkers, runners and bikers are also expected to dodge the speeding traffic on a sharp curve there. Who is looking out for the safety of these people? Certainly not the builder or the city.
The Pit at Jackson looks awesome! I can hardly wait for Friday night football.
Having voted in every election since I reached the age of 18, I can say with certainty that I am the most proud of voting for the current President, Senate, and House who will shape the Supreme Court of the United States back to a constitutionally conservative body that will interpret the Constitution as intended.
Thirty-four billion dollars in tariffs offset by $12 billion to subsidize farmers still looks like a $22 billion advantage for the US. Of course, I'm not a product of Common Core math, so I may be incorrect.
Another day, another Dow Jones record. Another month, another climb in wages and 200,000 jobs added. Another year of GOP control in the White House, Senate, House, majority of Governors, and majority of state legislators. And another quarter century of a conservative Supreme Court. MAGA.
