Since Missouri's state legislature staunchly opposes the Affordable Care Act, state government is, shamefully, of absolutely no help in getting people enrolled. However, thanks in large part to the nonprofit MO Foundation for Health, it is at least possible for people who so desire to get enrolled under the Affordable Care Act. For that, I want to formally thank the MO Foundation for Health for taking up some of the slack and doing the right thing.
As been shown many times by the left, figures can be twisted to make a case, when in fact the opposite is true. This was made very clear by the recent Donna Brazile column that she stated that Obamacare is working very well. Donna, I'm not sure what Kool-Aid you are drinking, but you ask anyone if their health insurance rates have gone down, and they will laugh in your face. My health insurance has taken 8 to 14 percent increases each year since Obama started "talking" about the Unaffordable Healthcare Act!
I wish Missourians would post more anti-Obamacare advertisements since they have been proven to be counterproductive.
If you are one of these people who have been bad-mouthing Obamacare from the beginning and receive a rebate from your health insurance company (some $330 million will be distributed to American employers and employees due to overspending on administrative costs), will you please abide by your principles and refuse to cash or deposit the checks. Thank you.
I am really fed up with this paper's constant belittling of our president. The number of "cartoons" published with Obama as the subject matter is getting old. Come on, surely you have some new and possibly entertaining material!
Obama, our "fundraiser-in-chief," only enjoys being the center of attention. That's why he is spending the majority of his time doing fundraisers. It is all about him. All eyes are on him and they ooh on every word. He loves that type of attention. Obviously, he isn't capable of leading so partying is what makes his job important for him. He is traveling all over the country -- big carbon footprint -- but has no time to help an imprisoned Marine, look at failing border control or find fixes to his "UN' affordable health care socialized joke (Obamacare).
