I truly thank the people who found my wallet at Save-A-Lot on Memorial Day weekend and were kind enough to return it all the way back to Jackson. It meant the world to me, and I am so grateful to them.
The city council of Cape needs to realize that taxpayers are the voters that put them in office and the taxpayers are the voters that can vote them out.
One of your headlines recently described Cape public schoolteacher salaries as "inching upward." You were far too generous. The salary increases were so infinitesimal that they could not be seen by either the naked eye or the most technologically advanced and powerful microscope.
To say that the IRS is corrupt is simply an overstatement. It may have some glitches they need to work out, but it's not what I'd call corrupt.
The Supreme Court said that it was everybody's right to marry whomever they love. But God didn't create Adam and Steve, it was Adam and Eve. We need to get back to that instead of fighting for gay marriage.
David Limbaugh recently opined that this is, indeed, Obama's America. Yes it is, Mr. Limbaugh, and the only thing you can do about it is to exercise your right of free speech and continue to fulminate by presenting futile but lengthy laundry lists of error-filled, anti-Obama exegeses.
