So Much Safer

I am so glad the NRA and Republican legislators have stopped any gun control laws and now have all these guns in the peoples hands now. Why, I feel so safe I can go anywhere here in Cape and not be worried about being shot, robbed or assaulted like it was the past 60 years. Got to give them credit and keep voting them in office.

Disgrace

What an jaw dropping disgrace. Thanks to Hillary Clinton for pointing out that the top 25 hedge fund managers make more than all of our nation's kindergarten teachers combined.

Unbearable

Why did Perryville have go kill the bear? Haven't they ever heard of tranquilizer darts? Great going big game hunters.

Trump card

I was surprised by conservative columnist Charles' Krauthammer's view that Marco Rubio is the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination. However, I was taken aback even more by his disrespectful, although perhaps in denial, failure to make any mention of Mr. Donald Trump.

Naive bloke

How can they be cheerful and optimistic? Out of the blue, some bloke named James Tamny took up mega Southeast Missourian space to posit that those on the right of the political spectrum start being more happy and optimistic abut America's future instead of continually pouring forth gloom and doom pessimism. I agree, but the naive Tamny fails to recognize that the all important base of the Republican Party, necessary to win the nomination for the presidency, will believe in nothing said to them that fails to forecast the forthcoming biblical apocalypse.

Free trade costs

I want to make a comment about this free trade. The last time they had this come up, we lost Thorngate, the clothing manufacturer, and Florsheim Shoes. How many people in here are going to be ruined, especially out at Procter & Gamble, because that might be a plant that may be going? Because they can move the plant over to China, where those people get paid anywhere from 75 cents to $1.50 an hour, which is good pay. Now, will these workers over here be willing to work that low? I wouldn't, if I owned the company, I'd move it over to China.
