One thing Donald Trump's presumed nomination has made crystal clear is that the tea party was never made up of ideologically principled, small state conservatives, like Red State's conservative Eric Erickson and conservative columnist and author David Limbaugh thought. It is only being used to push an agenda support by only the most extremist individuals.
