We wish to say thanks and God bless to the person who paid for our breakfast at Denny's recently. We are very appreciative and plan to "pass it on" the next opportunity we have.
Perversion runs rampant these days. Yes, we are living in the last days, aren't we? Yet another athlete openly admits he is gay. Hoorah, hoorah! Now I know why I don't watch sports.
Why don't we stop worrying about Mr. Bucklew's rights and start worrying about his victims' rights?
Isn't it amazing to watch the Obama people and their supporters try to ignore questions about the Benghazi murders as if it was unimportant and old news. They seem to completely ignore the fact that four Americans were killed, including the American ambassador. Richard Nixon had to resign the presidency because of the Watergate break-in, and that was simply a burglary; no one was killed.
Talk show trash talkers and others are going all out to try to stop Hillary Clinton from running for the presidency. I suppose they think she can't take the heat and know that, if nominated, she'll blow out whoever the Republicans nominate.
I read this article where the Obama administration issues a massive new report linking climate change to extreme weather across the country and warning of "climate disruption," fueling its controversial push for more energy regulations. Regulate, regulate, regulate. That's all this administration likes to do. We have gas prices that have doubled since Obama took his reign, our economy still has a long way to go before it is robust, Russia is flexing its muscles to the world and the Obama administration is crying chicken little. The sky is falling!
Today is Tuesday morning, and I'm reading the Missourian. I agree with the person who called in about the railroad crossing at Jackson. It is horrible. And I don't know why somebody isn't held accountable to fix it, both ways. Please, please, somebody fix it, whoever is responsible.
Now that summer's getting here, these kids need to stay out of the street. Don't walk in the middle of the street and look at people like they're crazy. You can get on over. I came home the other day, and there were two kids walking right in the middle of the road. They don't try to get over. They have no respect for people driving cars. Kids, summer is here. Stay out of the middle of the road. Don't play in the road.
Can all of you out there who don't take any pride in your yard please consider your neighbors? Neighbors are trying to keep their yards looking well kept and presentable, while the neighbor next door or across the street now has grass and weeds about a foot tall. Maybe the city could start to ticket them and give them citations to clean up their yards. Let's all keep Cape Girardeau and our neighborhoods looking great.
