I am the one that called in and keeps complaining about these people wanting to sell me food stamps. I know how the system works. They don't have food stamps, they've got these electronic cards. I think I am going to start writing down these people's pin numbers and next week I will have 60 PIN numbers calling in to Speak Out to prove my point.
I believe the plaque on the bottom of the Statue of Liberty ought to be changed to wording of "Give us your laziest, your most undesirable and we will come to the United States and we will put you on welfare and when you get tired of watching your kids you can complain to the congressmen that you can't get day care."
The current Occupy Wall Street movement is the best illustration to date of what the Democrat party's vision for America looks like. It is an America where the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent rule. It is an America where those who have sacrificed nothing pillage and destroy the lives of those who have sacrificed greatly. If this is what you hardworking, law-abiding taxpaying citizens really want, this is what you'll get voting for any Democrat.
The president is taking all the credit for killing Osama bin Laden for political purposes. Yet as a senator and a presidential candidate he was against military actions and funding the operation. He is also demonizing Republicans concerning the student loan legislation enacted when he was a Senator. He didn't believe that was important then since he didn't vote on the issue. Hail to the Hypocrite in Chief.
As a college employee, I totally agree with Rubio's suggestion that student loans be cut. Far too many of our students aren't paying enough for their education. By that, I mean the government is footing the bill, the student doesn't see that they (or the taxpayers) will eventually pay it, and they are simply here having a good time. They don't value the education because there is no, or very little, cost to them. If more students had to sacrifice or put off their education until they could afford it, more would apply themselves. The majority of today's students think they sacrifice when they can only go out clubbing a couple of nights a week instead of more. They have smartphones, nice cars, great clothes, etc. They have no idea what it means to sacrifice or pay their way.
I just read the article about the bird diseases and I also have a comment on that. I am calling in because I have a friend that is too nice to say anything. Her neighbor is obsessed with birds. He has placed birdhouses, bird feeders an inch from her fence. She has a pool and you can guess how much bird mess is around the pool. It is so nasty and it can cause disease. So sir, please think about it. If you had a pool would you like this to happen to you? I am sure you wouldn't. So move the feeders and the houses to another location; you have a huge lot and a lot of space.
