I wanted to thank the committee members and organizations that worked so hard to make Messy Morning such a fun event for our community. It takes a lot of time and energy to make an event like that come together. We saw so many smiles that day.
Good job, David Limbaugh. Your articles on Christianity are great. Preach on brother, preach on.
In regards to the Speak Out about Sen. McCain, I never voted for him, but I would not have minded if he won the presidency. I am very appreciative of his service to our country.
Wake up, America. Each day I read about the politicians like Obama, Clinton and McCaskill changing their mind on same-sex marriage. All they want are votes. Christian people need to stand up for man and woman marriage. I pray for politicians and homosexuals every day.
I wish just one of the politicians would quit worrying about getting votes and say what they think about something like gay marriage.
Stealing from the dead. I got a beautiful cross wreath for my son on Easter at St. Mary Cemetery. When I went back to visit the grave, it was gone. Please return it; no questions asked.
I'm done hearing about all the ignorant fools talking about gun control vs. abortion. Compared to the babies aborted, the Sandy Hook tragedy was nothing. They want to control our guns but will let you kill your baby if you want.
I read with interest Sullivan's columns, especially the one on disability. I am an elderly woman with two kinds of chronic arthritis. But I work full time. I think it's terrible all the people sponging off the system who are capable of working. I have a family member who claims disability and gets around better than I do and goes to the gym five days a week. He makes stupid money from the government and is nowhere near as disabled as I am.
I think with the natural disasters and technology there will be a lot of rapid change in society for a long time.
There are over 900 cities in Missouri and only 23 have urban hunting. Whenever there are humans and weapons there is always a chance to risk property damage, injury and death. I'm glad we weren't willing to take that chance.
It was so sad to see the little girl holding a sign saying, "My two moms are married." As a man in my 40s, I'm thankful I grew up in a home with both a mother and a father. Why do Obama, McCaskill, secular progressives and homosexual activists want to deny children the right to both a mother and a father? Why do adults only think about themselves and not our children?
