Does anyone believe how much danger these undercover narcotics officers are in? Their lives are in danger every day. You might kiss your wife and children goodbye forever. They're doing a wonderful job, but they couldn't pay me enough to do it. I think Cape Girardeau needs a Spanish restaurant. As much as I like Mexican food, I can see myself getting burned out on it. We have Mexican, Italian, Oriental and American but I think it will be nice to have something of a Spanish influence...
Dangerous job
Does anyone believe how much danger these undercover narcotics officers are in? Their lives are in danger every day. You might kiss your wife and children goodbye forever. They're doing a wonderful job, but they couldn't pay me enough to do it.
Spanish restaurant
I think Cape Girardeau needs a Spanish restaurant. As much as I like Mexican food, I can see myself getting burned out on it. We have Mexican, Italian, Oriental and American but I think it will be nice to have something of a Spanish influence.
Trash laws
The sidewalks and bike trails and renovation of Broadway and so on are ridiculous. They've poured enough concrete to go to the moon. If they want to improve the city's appearance, simply enforce laws that will make a few trashy pigs clean up their property.
Chicken Little
I would like to thank the people who voted for Obama. Before he took office, a can of chicken noodle soup was 50 cents; now its $2. Is this the kind of thing that's helping America? Thank you, people, for voting for Obama. Now you're going to have to pay, too.
Medicaid
Hey Gov. Nixon, has anyone ever told you there's no such thing as a free lunch? You want to add another 100,000 Medicaid dependents. The president said he's going to pay for it for the first year then it's your responsibility. He gets his money the same place you do, from we the people. We the people put you in your place and we the people are going to get what we deserve.
Gun control
It's about time the American people stood up against the gun control lobbyists. I think our president is going to sell us out to the United Nations with the small arms and treaty agreement. It's time we stood up to him and told him what we think.

Comic relief
This is for the person who compared congressional salaries to comedians. There is one difference; the tax payers don't have to pay the comedians' salaries, and we do have to pay the congressmen.
Gas prices
They did it to us again. It took from Thanksgiving to get gas prices down and guess what, the next day or two it goes up.
Not a criminal
Today, I went to the Bollinger County Sheriff's office to report possible drug activity, and the other deputies were busy. The sheriff walked past me twice without saying anything. I thought we had a new regime, but it looks like it's business as usual. Also, I'd like to add, I felt like I myself was being treated like a suspect rather than a criminal.
Painkillers
I'm over 55, and I've been through the phone book, trying to find a place to take me off the pain medicine I'm on because my body is addicted to it and I can't do it myself. There is absolutely no place around where women can go to help get off the narcotics. I don't go out and buy off the street or sell my meds, I'm not an alcoholic, but I do have an addiction to these pills. I have to pace my days around the medication. If somebody knows a place to go to, call back to Speak Out. Thank you.
An honor
So grateful to the person who purchased the restaurant gift cards for me and the person who paid for my breakfast and the young girl who thanked me for serving my country; it was an honor. I want to thank them all from the bottom of my heart. May God bless them always.
Chicago violence
If Obama is serious about stopping children from killing each other, why doesn't he go back to his hometown of Chicago and tell the children there to stop killing each other.
