Hypocrisy

What hypocrites. Obama and his party support same-sex marriage, aborting children and then have the nerve to ask for God's guidance. You can't turn your back on his teaching and still expect him to bless you and let things be all inclusive and let everything go.

Trash problem

Why do the citizens of Cape Girardeau have to put up with neighbors who live like pigs and pile up trash in their yards? When I don't pay a city bill, the city is on me like a chicken on a June bug. Does the city have any laws or ordinances for cleanliness and health? If so, where is the enforcement? Whoever is in charge isn't doing their duty.

Smoking problem

I am really pleased with the casino. It's a nice place to go and have fun, but the issue I have is the smoking. I smoked in college because I thought it was cool and I had something to do with my hands. I didn't like the smell of my hands and hair and breath and clothing and house smelling like cigarettes, so I quit. Also, there is a health hazard with smoking itself and secondhand smoke. Somehow the people at the casino think they're doing the nonsmokers a favor by sharing the smoke with them.

Sleeping giant

From 9/11 and the wakening of the supergiant, what happened? Did the giant go back to sleep? Everyone wanted to help out, and now no one wants to help each other and we're letting all these other countries threaten us and tell us what to do, like North Korea. Are we going to awake the giant again and get the country back on track and say "enough is enough." Awake the supergiant again and stick together. God bless America.

National debt

A lot of people understand that the national debt cannot be paid. I wonder what the result of this will be?

King, Obama

I bet Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. now is looking down on what Obama does and is scratching his head thinking, "huh?"

Sleep more

This is for the person who called in and criticized Republicans with what Obama is doing like playing golf with Tiger Woods. The comment said people who don't like him begrudge him when he is asleep and wish he'd work. This is not the case. I know several who want him to sleep longer, like four more years.

Fox News

If the Republicans want to get their message out and scare people like the Democrats, what they need to do is to have Fox News transmitted over network TV and the radio.

Obama quote

Pollution

Maybe we shouldn't be too concerned about having lots of money. Maybe we should be more concerned about pollution and global warming.

Partisan fighting

I am glad to see the Republicans and Democrats do what they do best: fighting. I will not vote for either in the election.
