Thank you, Brother David and Notre Dame, for allowing students the prayer service in support of safe schools.
Kids walking out of school in protest of gun violence and demanding stricter gun laws. How about someone have the guts to teach them the fact that more people are killed in this country in car accidents involving alcohol than are killed by individuals with guns? When these kids stop drinking and driving and when they walk out in protest of drinking and driving and when they demand stricter laws on alcohol sales or the ban of alcohol altogether, they will have credibility. As for them walking out under supervision, that is preposterous. And local districts better count those kids absent and count that absenteeism in their total attendance or they owe kids who are legitimately absent due to illnesses a free pass as well.
Cities we have visited have paved sidewalks around old trees. Saving old trees seems like a very worthwhile venture, and I would think paving around them would be cheaper than taking down the trees and repaving. City of Cape, please commit to preserving our old trees!
Will the Cape County Road District make parking available along Bloomfield Road now that the project is done? We taxpayers would also like to enjoy the walking trail.
