I have an idea what our Cape Girardeau leaders could do for the citizens of Cape. They can have a contest on who has the worst streets in Cape Girardeau. Bloomfield bumps

Bloomfield Road is getting bumpier and more uneven all the time. It is hard on cars. If they are not going to widen, at least they could smooth the road out somehow. This is a heavily traveled road.

Imperial presidency

I see now on TV that President Obama is wanting to force business owners to pay salaried workers overtime. Who does this man think he is? He is just telling everyone in this country what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. We need to get the Democrats out of the White House, people, or our country is not going to be recognizable.

Organizer in chief

I just read the Speak Out comment by the caller who was complaining about how Obama was cutting the military and hoped that if our enemies like Iran or North Korea or China take us, and we therefore don't have the military men and women to fight back, that Obama would be on the front line. I think this is a very, very disgraceful comment to make and shows disregard for our country. If Obama's on the front line, all he will know how to do is organize them into a community, at which point they'll all turn to fighting among themselves, and we'll lose for sure.
