Stoplight is better

A roundabout at Independence and East Rodney is plumb stupid. For one thing, there isn't enough room and there are also trucks that go through there mainly from the armory. Why they don't put in a stoplight is beyond me. The ones at Mount Auburn and Hopper Road are the best ones they have ever done.

Climate change

To the caller who wanted to defend Al Gore on global warming, they need to get their information correct. It's not "global warming" anymore. It's "climate change." That way they can cover their butts no matter which way it goes.

Traffic light

I've just been driving on Independence from over by Aldi and Arby's, and it is an awful mess. Almost as bad as the entire Main Street in Jackson. They're going to have to get a stoplight over there on Independence. If they don't, to me the only other reasonable thing to do is to say "no left turns, no left turns at all, between Caruthers and Kingshighway." Because the people who are trying it are either sitting there forever, or they're just giving up and, I think, closing their eyes and darting into the road. There's going to be a horrible accident. Someone's going to get killed.
