AFTER THE most recent news we've been hearing and reading about, I am convinced that the blacks have already had their first president. He just left the office.
Not comparable
I WOULD like to comment on the caller who said Lincoln's Republican Party is not today's Republican Party. Yes, it is. You cannot compare the platforms, however, because of the issues they dealt with. The only issue in Lincoln's day was slavery, which doesn't exist now. Today's main issues are things like abortion, homosexuality, Social Security and income taxes, none of which existed in Lincoln's day. You cannot compare the platforms.
I told you so
YOU KNEW you put a bunch of criminals in the White House for the past eight years, because I told you so. I told you what they were more than nine years ago. You paid them both to live high on the hog and rob you blind.
Good technology
WE'RE ABOUT to find out how good American technology is. All the technology Bill Clinton allowed to be sold to the Chinese has been sold to the Iraqis. And those radar systems are being turned against our boys who have to fly over there. We're going to have to find out if our technology really was good. Maybe they'll be shooting down our planes. That will just prove how good our technology is.
Waiting for payment
I WAS calling in reference to the report that Cape Girardeau will pay for all the injured police officers' bills. These bills will not be paid for at least three to six months while the investigation is done by worker's comp.

Helping daughters
IT'S SO refreshing to see some fathers practicing basketball with their young daughters in our neighborhood. I would just like to tell them how much I admire them and commend them for building strong, independent, smart women. Keep it up.
Not church teaching
I WOULD like to comment on the article about the woman in Jackson who claims to have psychic powers. She claims to be a devout Roman Catholic. What she is doing is against all Catholic teachings and the Holy Bible. How she can display a statue of our Blessed Mother Mary and a statue of a sorcerer in the same room is disgusting. The church denounces everything she is doing. Anyone who believes what she is doing is wasting good money.
Judging others
DO YOU people know what the Bible really says? My Bible tells me that every word that you utter you are going to be judged on. A lot of you people are judging other people. The Bible says judge not lest ye be judged. I would hate to be in some of your shoes when you stand before God on Judgment Day.
Mixed-up priorities
THERE ARE donations made to have your pet spayed or neutered for free. I happen to be a human being who wears glasses. My glasses are broken, but I can't get assistance. However, if I were a cat, I could get spayed or neutered. Where are the priorities?
Shame and denial
DENY, DENY. Shame on that Republican Supreme Court. Shame on that Republican Congress. And shame on that appointed Republican George Bush. They're all killing babies. At least Clinton gave us the Family and Medical Leave Act which no Republican president would ever sign. Shame, shame, shame.
