I was referring to the Basketball Banter this morning. Actually, Kermit Meystedt did set the record. It was 98 points. Our team was McDonald's, and we were playing Central Packing, and we won the game 198- ... I do not know what their score was. But I do know we scored 198 points. Kermit did have 98, and I had 48 that night. It was back in the early ‘70s.
Please, pretty please, as we used to say as kids, somebody fix Cape Girardeau's awful streets. They are a disgrace. Use something besides inferior materials to repair potholes. All we see are repairs being repaired over and over again with materials that don't last. Rocks of all sizes from so-called repaired, washed-out potholes are ruining car tires.
What is wrong with you people? Why do you want to change the Missouri flag? It's beautiful. It stands for something now. It stands for more than you can imagine. Please don't change the design on our Missouri flag.
