Repeal ACA

If the masses wanted the Affordable Care Act to continue, they wouldn't have voted for Trump and put the Republicans in office up and down the line. Repeal! Do not replace.

Shumate HOF

A big congratulations to Ron Shumate on FINALLY being inducted into the HOF! The winningest coach ever at SEMO truly did fill the stands. If anyone remembers the circumstances around Mr. Shumate's firing over 20 years ago, it becomes obvious why he wasn't honored sooner. Whatever your opinion of Ron Shumate, his success as a basketball coach cannot be denied.

Roundabouts

I put in Speak Out long before they started the roundabout on Independence that it wouldn't help the traffic flow. They could have put in stoplights like on Mt. Auburn and Hopper Rd. Best traffic flow in all directions.

Betsy DeVos

Where the media gets it wrong about people not wanting DeVos for education secretary... it is not political. Not Union. Not Democrat. It is a parent thing to want the best for the children of this country. It is just sad that the members of Congress care more about their wealth and power and party, than they care about our children. Always was that way. Always will be I guess.

Elizabeth Warren

It is a sad day for politics when a senate member, Ms. Warren, blatantly ignores senate rules on the cabinet confirmation hearing, to gain political clout and then throws the blame onto the Republicans for her planned breaking of the rules. And then to play the race card, which she is an expert at, and say it saddens her that the words of Mrs. King are not permissible. What a pathetic actress she is, but hey, we are all stupid and can't see through what she is attempting to do. Hopefully our election process of "term limits" will relieve her of her post next election.
