RECENTLY I noticed several individuals were burning items outside. Shortly after, I noticed several yards with unwanted burned areas. My yard is very brown and dry. Please be careful with fires.
WITH the way the rules are now, a wife can draw off her husband's Social Security and leave hers alone until it reaches its maximum benefit. Then she can start drawing on hers at a higher rate. Seems to me this is double dipping.
THE Rock and Worship Roadshow was the best event I've ever seen at the Show Me Center. The Show Me Center was full all the way up to the rafters. People were sitting everywhere. I want to encourage the Show Me Center to have more shows like that. That's how you fill the house.

THIS is in regard to the individuals living on Social Security who are not getting a raise, allegedly because there's no cost-of-living increase this year. They should see my adjustments. What I have to pay on my Medicare has gone up, plus supplemental insurance went up $53.76 a month, plus they're holding out $31.58 more for income tax out of my annuity check. So how do they figure there was no cost-of-living increase?
IT looks like Southeast is about to put the scoreboard at Houck Stadium on the wrong end of the field where nobody can see it. When the sun shines, you won't be able to see the score. Why in the world don't they put it down on the east end where it can be seen easily by both sides? And it would save a lot of money.
I'M a nonsmoker, but I'm against taxing cigarette smokers heavily. However, I'm not against a smoking ban because that affects people who don't smoke. Smoke can't be contained in one little area, it goes all over the place.
