Albino deer

I just don't understand how anyone can kill a majestic beautiful animal like that when he has killed so many big deer before. I just don't understand that.

Even some Fox News spokespersons seemed outraged that there was no indictment in what was ruled by the medical examiner a chokehold death of Eric Garner by a NYC police officer.

Albino coverage

I am surprised that the Southeast Missourian would give such publicity to a man that was so uncaring as to kill this white deer while other hunters have seen it and let it live all these years because it was a unique animal to our area. I hope he is proud.

Wages

The good news? The wages of our youngest workers aren't stagnant. The very bad news? Their wages are falling.

Classroom on the Court

I just came from the SEMO women's basketball Classroom on the Court game. It was a good game, but, unfortunately, SEMO lost. The schoolchildren in attendance seemed to enjoy the game. However, one school arrived after the game had started, and, worst of all, several schools never even showed up. This seems like bad manners bordering on an insult to me. I hope the university will invite schools which will actually show up next year!
