It's 6:30, and my mail carrier has not been here yet. I think we're going back to the Pony Express. I'm 89 years old, and I can't afford to fall down going out to see if my mail is there in the dark.

Calm down, fans

As an ex-high school basketball coach, I experienced harassment from parents of players, criticizing decisions I made during a game, the amount of playing time or lack thereof afforded their child, and on and on. Based on what I've heard, this inappropriate practice has worsened over the years. As the season approaches, I make a sincere Speak Out plea to parents of players and fans in general to leave the coaches alone and allow them to do what they have been trained to do.
