On a camping trip in October, we were at Sam A. Baker Park and we picked up some persimmon seeds. And we saved and dried the seeds and then pried them open to reveal eight seeds with a spoon inside and two with a knife inside. A spoon is for shoveling snow and a knife is for chipping ice. A fork means a mild winter. So far the persimmons have predicted the weather pretty accurately.
Isn't it about the smartest thing you ever heard? Illinois is going to try to raise the mandatory minimum to three years for a gun offense, when the mandatory minimum has been a year and they're releasing them after three or four months anyway. Just enforce the laws they've got and they'd do fine. Thank you.
Yes, I would like to make a comment about the Barack Obama health-care thing. Remember, it's like ordering a cheese burger. It can be a cheese burger, but you're going to have to pay extra for the slice of cheese. And by the way, I will not sign up on the health-care exchange until Barack Obama does on national TV.
