I just moved to Cape Girardeau. And I've just got a little beef. I think if you have an opening inside your store where these people ringing the bells can walk into the store to keep warm, it would be great. I left Schnucks. Their person was inside the building. I think it would be best to get these people inside. It is so cold out there, and something needs to be done. This poor lady out there ... I know they're ringing the bell, but they're doing it for everybody else. And they need to be warm, too.
To the person who put the JFK 50 years ago in the Speak Out, I have to agree with you 1,000 percent. Sure wish we could get another president like him, but the outlook's not so good. Thank you for remembering JFK. Thank you.
Well, I just saw on TV the administration is putting off the next enrollment that was supposed to be a month before for health-care enrollment. It was supposed to be a month before the election in 2014, November. Now they're putting it off a month after. Gee, I wonder why? They think we people are so stupid to put all these Democrats back in that voted for this monstrosity and then a month later, when our insurance rates go sky-high, it's too late because we put all these Democrats back in. I think we really better understand who we are putting in office. Because this administration is ruining our country.
I read the article about Camp Zoe with mixed emotions. I went to Camp Zoe when I was a little boy. It was a great place. Lots of pretty girls, horseback rides, archery, arts and crafts, and donkeys. They would give us rides around the campground. It was great. It'll be fun for other people to have a chance to go there when the Conservation Department owns it. But at the same time, this country was founded on private-property ownership. The government should not be buying more and more property. When the government owns more property, there's less property left for private people to own and to build their businesses. So, I really wish the government would sell some land if they're going to buy Camp Zoe.
California's health-care exchange is on target to reach its March goal. And Missouri is ... oh wait ... Missouri does not have one.
Beware! The notorious billionaire Koch brothers have been involved in a nefarious effort to undermine and destroy the Affordable Care Act, nowhere more sinister than in the Show Me State.
