This is in regard to the person who made a comment about incompetence in Speak Out, about the current president, the way he's running the country now. I think he really wasn't paying much attention when Bush was in office, because he would have found that Bush was leading the country to nothing, except downhill. We have made many growths since the new president has been in there, the last couple of terms. So I think he's looking at the wrong guy.
Thank you to the kind gentleman and lady who helped me into my car after I fell in the Dollar General parking lot. ER determined I had fractured both arms and dislocated my right forearm. Thank you so much for your kindness!
Consultant
More, more, more. That's all these county commissioners know in Cape Girardeau County. When you hire an architectural firm, they always advise that you have to spend more money. Otherwise, why hire them? I was in the Cape Girardeau County courthouse this morning, Tuesday morning, Nov. 19. Those courtrooms on the upstairs floor were totally empty.
If the mayor wants to clean up the city of Cape, he needs to start with city-owned property such as the rusted-out storage shed on the police department parking lot, junk piled around at public works, junk piled around the maintenance building at Arena Park. Just to name a few. Thank you.
Ongoing attempts to kill off the Common Core curriculum movement can only be conceived of as a pre-emptive strike motivated by political considerations, since Common Core has yet to be fully implemented and the degree of its success still to be determined.
Obama ‘allows'
I just saw an article titled, "Obama allows Americans to keep their insurance." Obama "allows?" This guy is so arrogant that he thinks he can just say something and it is law. First we are told we must pass this plan, thousands of pages that very few have even read, to understand what is in it. Then the Obama kingdom starts letting certain companies opt out of the program when they threaten to cancel coverage for their employees. Then we find out that everyone must pay for the same coverage.
Social Security
Social Security benefits should (instead of being cut) be expanded.
Success coming
I have a sneaking suspicion that the federal and many state governments are (slowly in some instances) going to turn this health-care rollout around and that in the end it will be a whopping success.
