Last week as my wife and I were walking on the trail in Cape Woods we discovered a miracle. An albino fawn with its mother. This has to be the progeny of the albino deer that was murdered last year. I hope no harm comes to it. I will post a picture on the Southeast Missourian website.
Thank you for your reprint of a well deserved take down of the cynical Ted Cruz by the Wall Street Journal for Cruz's abandonment of true conservative principles by caving in and endorsing the deplorable Donald Trump.
I want to thank the Cape Girardeau police department for stopping my short crime spree. You see, I put garage sale signs at each end of my street. A cop stops and tells me they're unlawful and to remove them. That ended my crime spree dead in its tracks. Thank God almighty I was stopped in time. Who knows what could have happened had I not been stopped.
I watched the debate between crooked Hillary and Mr. Trump last week, did anyone else notice her reference to gun control? I will never vote for her or anyone who advocates any form of gun control.
The good thing about the American System is that the Electoral College does not have to follow the Popular vote. If Trump wins the Popular vote, I hope the Electoral College will go with Hillary. America must never bend to the will of the Dictatorship of the Majority, as the Founding Fathers always held true.
Monday's speak out was a perfect illustration as to why I rarely comment on that forum anymore. Shortly into the comments section as usual it degenerated into a name calling contest over political differences even though absolutely none of the Speak Out comments of that day had anything to do with politics. The usual suspects turned it into a mud-slinging contest with their nasty name-calling and copy and paste comments. If you guys really hate each other that much why don't you get together, duke it out for once at all, and quit boring the rest of us here us to tears!
It was somewhat comforting to read that security will be tight in Cape County for the election. However, the degree of tightness is a matter of concern. For example, will alarm bells go off when I vote and will I be subsequently arrested if I vote for a candidate or candidates not favored by Cape County's entrenched establishment?
