False idol

WHAT is a socialist-communist? It's someone who reads Marx and Lenin and believes the fantasy. And how do you tell an anti-communist? It's someone who has read Marx and Lenin and studied the results of trying to obtain that fantasy by implementing their ideas. The false premise of a government giving to each according to his needs and taking from each according to each one's ability to produce falls apart when total production is too meager to meet the endless demand of needs. Attempts at rationing give way to population control (sterilization, abortion, euthanasia) which ultimately gives way to targeting specific citizens for forced slavery, starvation, mass execution and elimination. In the last century upward of 150 million innocent fellow citizens of do-gooder dreamers have been sacrificed to this false idol.

Defining the terms

Misleading article

GARY Rust ran an irresponsible article titled "Joe Legal versus Joe Illegal." This piece made several ridiculous assumptions. One was that undocumented people have their food paid for by food stamps. Food stamp applicants have to verify U.S. citizenship to receive public aid. Does the Southeast Missourian really think it is OK to print garbage like this that perpetuates stereotypes?

Treating waste

I think it should be a federal mandate that industry and municipalities should have their own waste treatment apparatus. Sewage and industrial waste should be reclaimed before entering an ecosystem or a waterway. It should be their duty and responsibility.
