I lost my wallet at the Central football game on Friday. I just want to say that I am happy that there are still honest people out there. I didn't think I'd get it back, but everything was there and nothing was missing. I want to thank the person for finding it and turning it in. I hope they stay honest the rest of his or her life...

I lost my wallet at the Central football game on Friday. I just want to say that I am happy that there are still honest people out there. Budget issue

In the 2013 federal budget, 87 percent of spending went to military, Social Security, Medicare, veterans' benefits and interest on the debt. Despite this, politicians who attempt to cut the 87 percent are regularly voted out of office. Politicians aren't to blame, we are.

Jensen column

I share Mike Jensen's concern over the abuse of the government disability program. Furthermore, since we're short on government bureaucrats, I believe Mr. Jensen would be the perfect person to hit the road and begin telling offenders that they have been cut off from their disability checks. His first stops should be in select counties in the western part of West Virginia. Good luck, Mike!
