I wanted to call and congratulate the Cape Central Tigers for winning against Jackson, 31-21. Good job, Peyton Montgomery and Al Young. Peyton Montgomery and Al Young, you are the two best players on the team, and I just wanted to congratulate you. And I wanted to congratulate Nathan Norman and the whole Central staff. You're good Tigers. I went to school there, and I'm proud to say that I'm a Tiger. Thank you for winning...

Go, Tigers!

Thank you for winning.

Obama salute

I was disgusted to see the video of President Obama giving a "latte salute" to soldiers as he came off the presidential helicopter. Basically, he lifted up his cup of latte and feigned a salute as he came down the steps. This man has no respect for the American military. It's clear all he's ever said was just to get votes. There's not an ounce of patriotism in him. How did we elect this guy? Twice?

More green, less green

Yes, before the city of Cape decides to go green with energy, take a look at Massachusetts. The whole state went completely green energy, and now everybody's electric bill is going up $137 a month, up on top of what they're paying now.

Vietnam Wall

I want to thank Tom Meyer for his part in bringing that Vietnam Wall display over to S.I.U. and the time he took to get that organized. So, thanks again, Tom, for what you did for the veterans. We appreciate you.

Football

Yes, I'm calling in on this poll question about, "How do you prefer to watch a movie?" I'm at work all day, and come home at night, they got these football games on. They don't shut them down. They just leave them on until 10:30, quarter to 11 at night. We can't even watch the news and weather. I think something should be done about it. They need to be cut off like everything else does when something important comes on. I'd appreciate it very much if something was done.

AG Holder

So Attorney General Holder is now stepping down from his job after six years, of which he seems so proud of his service. But what has he done? Oh, he said he knew of Attorney General Robert Kennedy. Well, I'd tell Attorney General Holder, he may have known of him, but he didn't know him. And he certainly wasn't anything like Robert Kennedy.

Jeter celebration

Yes, this is in regard to the Yankees and Derek Jeter and the celebration they had last night at the ballpark. I would say that that would probably be something Alex Rodriguez never gets to experience, because I don't see them bringing him back. If they do, they're crazy to do it, because he lied about using the drugs. So, he needs to be in the same shape that Bonds is in and the rest of are who used it.

School traffic

I want to comment on the middle school traffic, whenever you pick up your kids from school. It would be a lot less complicated if parents would pull over to the curb and park and wait for the children to come out, instead of just pulling up to the stop sign, just sitting there and waiting. You're tying up traffic. Traffic was tied up today forever, because there were people pulling up to the stop sign and instead of stopping and moving on, they just parked there to wait for their child. Come on, surely to goodness you've got more sense than that.

Skateboards

Yeah, about the city police getting the ATVs. Skateboards would be a lot cheaper with taxpayers.

Stop drinking

Someone was complaining about being charged with DWI and blaming it because there's a bar on every corner in this town. Take responsibility for your own actions. Remember: Want not, waste not.
