Gas prices

Where are our cheap gas prices? St. Louis has lower prices than we do, and every town around the area has lower prices.

Cape liquor licenses

If the city council wants to really help Cape citizens, they need to put a cap on the number of liquor licenses issued. With the new ordinance passed, the City of Roses will soon become the city of liquor stores.

Obamacare

I would like to ask a question to the Speak Out caller who said that Obamacare was great. If it's so great, why aren't the president and his family enrolling in it? Please explain.

Memorial vs. rally

I can't help but wonder why veterans were kept out of the World War II memorial but illegal aliens were allowed to hold a rally on the Washington Mall?

Smith and shutdown

I wish the Missourian would ask Jason Smith where he stands on the shutdown right now and what he would do about raising the debt limit. The debt limit has to be raised; we can't let the country default.

Wake up, GOP

The tea party is destroying the Republican Party slowly but surely. I just hope the party wakes up before it's too late.

Reasoning

The person who asked in Speak Out why the Capitol police didn't shoot out the tires of that car to stop it watches way too much TV. A car can continue for many miles at high speed after the tires go flat. They can even run on the rims with no tire at all.
