I just want to tell the city how nice it is to have that dog park out there. My daughter used to have a dog and used to go out. But now we just take a ride and go out there and sit and watch the dogs. They just have such a good time running free out there. Thank you. And I appreciate you doing that for dogs.
Watching the news Jan. 15 and I see I-93 in Boston is shut down due to protests again. How many people are going to die because people start keeping the interstates closed because of protesting? They have a right to protest, but ambulances and police cars can't get through to where they need to go when people are protesting and laying down in the streets.
On Christmas Eve, my 94-year-old dad and I were eating at Cracker Barrel. He's a veteran of World War II and had his hat on, which he proudly wears. We were eating and the waitress said our meal had been paid for. And I want to thank whoever thought enough of my dad to pay for the meal. Thank you.
As a long-time resident of Cape Girardeau, I wish the police would do something about the crazy driving on Broadway. People are constantly running lights and cutting others off. I think they need to install some traffic cameras as officers can't be everywhere at once.

The article in the Sunday paper about the Jackson mayoral race was very, very biased. None of Mayor Lohr's accomplishments were mentioned. She has done so much for Jackson and for the Southeast Missouri University.
Yes, I'd just like to say that when I go to the post office in Jackson, I always stop and read the bulletin board at the Presbyterian church right beside it. And I really enjoy it. And I just wanted to let people know to read it. It's really good.
Seeing all the talk about the new flu vaccines and such and how ineffective they are, I would like it to be published, and if you have the power to do such, find out where it's made and who makes it. It's like generic drugs. Nobody knows who makes them or where they're made. The doctors don't know. The pharmacist doesn't know. Let's find out about the flu vaccine that's ineffective and see if we know if there's any control over it being made. I think that's one of the first things they need to do, instead of talking about the ineffectiveness. Let's find out about its history.
