Southeast Missouri State University's Student Government organized a community volunteer work day for April 16 which was coordinated by the Old Town Cape Merchants Association. The students worked on a variety of projects around the community.
The Glenn House was fortunate to have been included in their volunteer day. The students did an outstanding job and really pitched in with enthusiasm and a lot of energy as they helped us complete several landscaping and maintenance projects. The Glenn House is better prepared for the coming tour season because of their efforts.
Their support and help was much appreciated, and in my opinion serves as a great example of how Southeast Missouri State and the students "give back" to our community.
