Security officers put lives on line for others' safety

To the editor:

Enough already. I have been a security officer for more than 10 years. Hearing the jokes and put-downs are getting pretty old. We in the security force have to deal on a daily basis with punks, jerks, idiots, chemical makers, drunks and bad attitudes. After Sept. 11, 2001, we have sacrificed our freedom to watch and protect yours, making sure the places we guard do not get destroyed and that the people at these places can go home to their families at night. This goes for every single one who is putting his life on the line so you may live yours.
