Remember pets during this holiday season

To the editor:

All through the house, not a creature was stirring except for the mouse.

You didn't have the heart to set a trap in your house.

So think of those other animals this year

Who are at the Humane Society that will not be filled with cheer.

Give them the money that you would spend on that trap.

And get a great cat that will make sure the presents stay wrapped.

The mice will no longer run up the tree.

Instead they will to the outside flee.
