To the editor: All races experience death by guns, drugs and violence. Remarks that suggest blacks are killing themselves are stereotypical and ignorant. Poverty and violence are nationwide problems, not just problems that blacks have. My father is black. I am his only child, and he has been there the whole 18 years of my life.
