Rediger brings a definite advantage. School matters, especially finances, are pretty complex. Rediger brings two years of board experience, serving until last April. He helped shaped the district's master plan, which the board is working to carry out.

He also brings a solid sense of community and business to the position as longtime manager of JCPenney at West Park Mall. Rediger is active in the community and serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Rediger should be complimented for stepping up to the plate once again when the school system was in need. The board and district will be well served.
