Pursue the war with agressiveness

To the editor:

The person in Chaffee who says you can't win the war on terrorism with kindness is correct. Over 3,000 Americans died on 9-11. That is more than the number of causalities at Pearl Harbor. We can do no less than pursue this war with the same vigor and aggressiveness as we did after Pearl Harbor. It is the right thing to do. Otherwise we dishonor the memories of our fellow Americans and their families who suffered at the hands of terrorists. The only difference is that this war knows no geographic boundaries and makes no distinctions between combatants and noncombatants. Terrorist targets are oblivious to normal values regarding human life and rules of war.
