The recent letter from Alan Journet inspired me to write a response.

His comments regarding the war in Iraq are indicative of being uninformed or misinformed. Has he not heard of General Sada's confession regarding all of the WMDs being shipped to Syria prior to the 2001 invasion, the 500 mortars containing chemical warheads already discovered in Iraq or the terrorists that were taking refuge in Iraq?

Is he not aware of the 11 terrorist attacks against the United States between 1979 and 2001? Or the 7,500-plus attacks by terrorists worldwide between 1981 and 2001?

On the environment, is Mr. Journet aware of the drying up of the Silk Route Wells in Persia for 400 years due to global warming 3,000 years ago?

Does his list of congressional culture of corruption also include Mr. Jefferson, Ms. McKinney and Senator Reid, among others?

I could go on, but my point is united we stand, divided we fall. Patriotism is not a partisan issue. I would ask Mr. Journet to connect the dots and quit blaming anyone except those who have taken a religious vow to eradicate the free world because of their envy of our freedoms, success and position.
