The Cape Girardeau River Heritage Cooperative (Cape River Heritage Museum, Fort D Historic Site, Glenn House, Old St. Vincent's Church and The Red House Interpretive Center) would like to congratulate Cheryl Hill of Cape Girardeau for completing her Cape Girardeau River Heritage Passport April 24 and 25 and winning a $25 gift card. Her name was drawn from the many visitors who participated in the first free weekend sponsored by the cooperative.
We encourage readers to take advantage of the second free weekend, which will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 3 and 4. Visit one of the sites listed above, pick up your Cape Girardeau River Heritage Passport, get it validated at three of the five sites July 3 or 4, leave the passport at one of the sites, and become eligible for the prize drawing July 15. All the Cooperative members appreciate the support of the Cape Girardeau community.
