It is a mystery to me why so many people are concerned about Barack Obama's qualifications to be president. President Truman was a haberdasher. President Eisenhower was a soldier. President Reagan was an actor. President Kennedy was a congressman. President Clinton was a governor. Obama is a senator. Those five men were pretty good presidents. It seems to me that Obama's qualifications are similar to those past presidents. I think political salesmanship and deal-making are the only think that would put anyone else in the White House.
