That's asinine. We don't see what the fuss is all about. ...

Sen. Jacob offered a proposal that would link the name change to a measure that would authorize $190 million in construction bonds for the University of Missouri campuses. This is the type of politics that makes most people sick.

If the University of Missouri can justify the construction bonds, they should be approved on their own merit. Don't hold the name change over their head.
