To the editor:
It is troubling to me that the Senate had an opportunity to increase competition in the cable industry and chose instead to maintain the status quo of higher cable rates and fewer choices. Missouri could have been a leader in bringing new video technology, better choices and more competition for our cable dollar but chose the special interests of the cable monopoly instead of the consumer.
