Mayor is not leader
It appears that the Southeast Missourian is not aware of our city manager/council form of government. We do not have a mayor/council form. And ours is not identical to the city of Jackson. Our charter is on the city website. Your recent articles often portray the mayor as leader of Cape Girardeau. This is not accurate reporting to our citizens...
