Many businesses, individuals make Toybox a success

To the editor:

My fellow Jaycees and I would like to thank the merchants and everyone who helped to make this year's Toybox project a success. Toybox could not be the great success it is without the caring businesses and people of our community. Many individuals are necessary to pull off an operation as large as this one.

Each year it is always a little scary speculating whether the monetary donations and toys will come in, but there always seems to be no speculation when it comes to the many Cape Girardeau businesses and people that turn out to help us each year. The Cape Girardeau Jaycees send our appreciation and wishes for a wonderful Christmas and happy new year.
