Limbaugh's longevity and his devotion to the law even as his age passed the century mark is legendary. His recall of events we now study in history books was phenomenal. His mission to assist newly independent India's transition to a self-sustaining legal system continues to bear fruit to this very day.

For these and many more achievements of note, Rush Limbaugh Sr. is the individual whose name has been proposed by Missouri's two U.S. senators and Southeast Missouri's congresswoman to grace the new federal courthouse nearing completion on Independence Street. It is a fitting tribute to a man whose family name has been handed down to distinguished lawyers and jurists.
