LETTERS: WHAT NEXT WILL SLITHER INTO OUR COMMUNITY?

To the editor:

First the riverboat fleecers came. Now the strippers. Just a coincidence in timing, right? One hardly dares to think what next will slither into our community.

When we fire the umpire and throw out the rule book (call it "progress" though we may), it becomes more and more difficult to keep the boundary lines straight. The game begins to unravel.
