To the editor:
I have noticed Steve Mosley's interest in UFOs and aliens. One must wonder why Steve has taken the time to write two letters concerning this issue. Knowing that his wife may send him to another planet for getting back in the letter-writing mode, this must be a subject close to Steve's heart or something similar.
I have been trying to figure out what it is that makes Steve so interested in UFOs. Something from his childhood perhaps? Could it be that a space ship landed in Arena Park one evening while Steve was practicing hitting a waffle ball and the aliens took him away for awhile and did something to his head? After all, how can anyone have his sense of humor and be from this planet? I say that as a compliment. I think Steve is one of the most humorous writers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Steve might not even be aware that this abduction ever took place. The aliens probably showed him some scary pictures of some really wild things, and these appear in his mind every time he is about to remember his abduction. Wow! I never realized before how messed up Steve is.
If you happen to run into Steve someplace, just act normal. We don't want to scare him or anything. Do we?
