To the editor: Time is fast approaching for Jackson School District's vote on a tax increase. I have yet to see any results to correct the desperate needs of the bond issue which was defeated twice before it barely passed last year. To the editor:

Time is fast approaching for Jackson School District's vote on a tax increase. I have yet to see any results to correct the desperate needs of the bond issue which was defeated twice before it barely passed last year.

I am very concerned about our children's education, but I cannot understand why Jackson schools have to be the biggest and best in this area. My main concern is the future of our young folks. Each bond issue that passes increases the taxes for the future generation as well as my generation.

I hope when voters cast their votes for this tax increase they will consider the burden they will be handing our children and grandchildren. I know I am one of many who cannot afford any more taxes.
