We need to add to our children's knowledge of the reason for the memorial and to accentuate a sense of national pride and loyalty to our country. Why destroy that memorial beauty to replace it with a large building with parking lots and all that it will entail? Why not locate the nature center on the hilltop, visible as an inviting structure to be reached by a beautiful, serene drive around the lake?

Let's not destroy the special memorial that we have. Let's just add to the beauty of the park.
