LETTERS: THANKS FOR YELL GRANT

To the editor:

On behalf of St. Paul Lutheran School, I would like to thank the United Way, the Southeast Missourian and the people who worked in regard to the YELL program for the grant money our school received this year. Those funds will be used to purchase additional software for our accelerated reading program. That is a program which allows students to take computer-generated tests based on books that they read.

Once again, thank you for helping our students become more motivated to read.
