LETTERS: THANKS FOR TENNIS HELP

To the editor:

A heartfelt thank you is in order to St. Francis Medical Center for its recent sponsorship at Universal Physique of the Junior Tennis Tournament. Donna and Richard Ryan, as always, ran a top-notch tournament with 38 junior players from Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area, including Illinois.

Thanks are also due Domino's Pizza, Boatmen's Bank, River Eagle Distributors, Snapple and Ameritech for their corporate sponsorships of this fine event. Parents, relatives and friends appreciate the sponsors of this tournament, as it helps develop young tennis players and generates an appreciation for tennis as a lifetime sport.

Again, thanks St. Francis, Donna and Richard for the availability of the courts, hard work, understanding and emotional support provided the junior tennis community. The tournament would not have been possible without the courts and your leadership.
