LETTERS: THANKS FOR GOLF SUPPORT

To the editor:

Thank you for your continue support of golf in Southeast Missouri by sponsoring the Southeast Missourian Cup Matches. Without your efforts over the last seven years, this event wouldn't exist. But thanks to the Southeast Missourian, it is the most prestigious tournament to enter annually in our area.

Our weather, though windy, was nice. The field hit some superb shots and experienced some heartbreaking mistakes. When the smoke cleared, Bent Creek once again reigned as your champion.

On behalf of all participating club memberships and their playing representatives, thanks for establishing and maintaining a great traditioMDSUn. Half of most golfers' season's accomplishment is qualifying to play in your event.
